Edel – Psychotherapist

Edel is an accredited psychotherapist and social care practitioner with 25 years' experience supporting adolescents, young adults, adults and families through life's challenges. She offers both in-person and online therapy, providing a warm, compassionate, collaborative and adaptive space where clients can feel heard, understood and supported.
Edel supports adolescents and young adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, low mood, emotional dysregulation, self-esteem challenges, relationship difficulties, bereavement, stress and school-related issues. By working collaboratively with each client, Edel helps them recognise and understand their unique experiences, strengths and goals.
Edel's therapeutic approach is integrative, relational and person-centred. She is committed to creating a therapeutic relationship where clients feel respected and supported. Edel has particular experience supporting neurodivergent clients and is committed to providing an inclusive therapeutic space that recognises and respects each person's individual needs and experiences.
Edel's professional background spans disability services, adolescent psychotherapy, family support, senior management roles and the delivery of professional training.
Edel holds a Master's in Adolescent Psychotherapy, a BA (Hons) in Applied Social Studies (Social Care), a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, and a Certificate in Family Therapy. She is committed to ongoing professional development, clinical supervision and ethical practice.
Edel previously held the position of psychotherapist with Crosscare Teen Counselling, as part of a highly skilled team working extensively with adolescents and their families. In this role, she worked collaboratively with Tusla – Child and Family Agency, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, schools and youth services.
Edel also successfully held the positions of Case Manager and later Head of Services with Youth Advocate Programmes (YAP) Ireland, supporting young people at risk.
For the past 25 years, Edel has worked within HSE Disability Services in Meath as a Health Care Assistant, supporting individuals with disabilities and complex needs. She has also worked with Barnardos, delivering child protection and supervision training to managers and a wide range of practitioners throughout the Irish social care environment.
Above all, Edel aims to offer a therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, respect and collaboration. She understands that starting therapy can feel daunting and provides a safe, supportive space to pause, make sense of what you are experiencing and explore what might help.

Rosaleen Mannion MIACP
MSc Adolescent Psychotherapy - University of Northampton
Counsellor & Psychotherapist | Adolescents, Adults, Parents & Family Support
With more than 20 years' experience supporting adolescents, adults, and families, Rosaleen offers compassionate, professional therapy for people facing a wide range of emotional and life challenges. She provides both in-person and online counselling, creating a safe, respectful, and confidential space where clients can feel heard, understood, and supported.
She has a particular passion for working with adolescents and young adults, helping them navigate anxiety, emotional regulation, low mood, school and college pressures, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, identity, and the many transitions that accompany adolescence and early adulthood. She also works closely with parents, supporting them to strengthen communication, better understand their young person's experiences, and build stronger family relationships.
Alongside her work with young people and families, she supports adults experiencing anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, and significant life changes. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each individual's unique needs, grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when people feel genuinely understood.
Before establishing her private practice, Rosaleen worked as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist with the HSE and spent almost two decades as a Social Care Leader with Tusla, supporting children, young people, and families involved in child protection and welfare services. She also works as an independent Court Advocate within family law proceedings. This combination of therapeutic, statutory, and advocacy experience gives her a deep understanding of the wider family, educational, health, and legal systems that can impact wellbeing.
Rosaleen holds a BA in Applied Social Studies (Social Care), a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, and a MSc in Adolescent Psychotherapy. She practises in accordance with the highest ethical and professional standards and is committed to ongoing professional development.

Lisa O'Sullivan MAPCP
MSc Adolescent Psychotherapy - University of Northampton
Psychotherapist | Adolescents, Young Adults, Parents & Women's Reproductive Mental Health
Lisa is an accredited psychotherapist who works with adolescents, young adults, parents, and adults, offering both in-person, phone and online therapy. She provides a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore life's challenges, deepen their self-understanding, and work towards meaningful, lasting change.
Lisa has a particular interest in supporting individuals navigating unplanned pregnancy, pregnancy loss, post-abortion experiences, and reproductive decision-making. Through her work with the HSE-funded service, she has supported people facing complex pregnancy-related decisions with compassionate, non-directive care. She understands that these experiences can bring a wide range of emotions and believes everyone deserves a space where they can be explored openly and without judgement.
She also has extensive experience supporting young adults as they navigate the challenges of emerging adulthood, including anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, low self-esteem, and major life transitions. Alongside this, Lisa works with adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioural, and relational difficulties, as well as parents who are seeking to better understand and connect with their teenager.
Having worked across HSE-funded and community counselling services, Lisa has supported adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a broad range of emotional and psychological difficulties including facilitating The Choices Programme for male perpetrators of domestic abuse. She has particular experience working with anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, and women's mental health. Lisa also has experience working with cancer support centres providing therapeutic support for teens who have a family member with cancer. Her approach is warm, collaborative, relational, and tailored to each individual, with the therapeutic relationship at the heart of her work.
Lisa holds a Master's in Adolescent Psychotherapy, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Counselling and Psychotherapy,a Diploma in Adolescent Psychotherapy and is a fully accredited member of the Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Ireland (APCP). She is committed to ongoing professional development and providing ethical, evidence-informed care.
