Online/Telephone Psychotherapy for Adults Ireland

Online psychotherapy for adults. A supportive space to connect, wherever you are.

At Three Shores Psychotherapy, we offer compassionate, professional online psychotherapy for adults, young adults, adolescents and parents throughout Ireland.

We understand that finding the time and space for yourself isn't always easy. Whether you're managing the demands of everyday life, experiencing anxiety, navigating relationship difficulties or going through a period of change, online psychotherapy offers an opportunity to pause, reflect and explore what matters to you.

Our three experienced, accredited psychotherapists provide a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and supported.

Online psychotherapy for adults

Life can bring challenges that leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, uncertain or stuck in familiar patterns.

You may be experiencing anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, grief, relationship difficulties or simply feeling that something in your life needs attention.

Therapy offers an opportunity to explore your experiences, develop a greater understanding of yourself and consider new ways of responding to life's challenges.

Our approach is humanistic and integrative, recognising that each person is unique and that therapy should be shaped around your individual needs.

We offer both short-term and longer-term psychotherapy, depending on what feels appropriate for you.

Why choose online psychotherapy?

Online psychotherapy allows you to access professional therapeutic support without needing to travel to appointments.

For many people, meeting their therapist from a familiar environment can make therapy feel more accessible and easier to incorporate into everyday life.

Online therapy may be particularly helpful if you:

  • Have a busy work or family schedule.

  • Live in an area with limited access to psychotherapy services.

  • Prefer to attend sessions from your own home.

  • Travel regularly or have difficulty attending appointments in person.

  • Are seeking a therapist with particular experience or specialist training.

Research suggests that online psychotherapy can be effective for many common emotional and psychological difficulties. The quality of the therapeutic relationship remains central to the work, whether sessions take place online or in person.

Online psychotherapy for young adults and adolescents

Young adulthood and adolescence can bring significant emotional, social and developmental challenges.

Our therapists have specialist Master's-level training in Adolescent Psychotherapy and experience supporting young people with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationships, identity, emotional regulation and school or college-related difficulties.

Online therapy can provide an accessible way for young people to engage in therapeutic support, where it is appropriate to their individual needs and circumstances.

Online support for parents

Parenting can be rewarding, but it can also bring uncertainty, frustration and worry, particularly during the adolescent years.

We offer online support for parents who may be struggling with communication, conflict, emotional difficulties or changes in their relationship with their teenager.

Parent consultations can offer space to reflect on family dynamics, develop greater understanding and explore new ways of supporting your young person.

How does online therapy work?

Online sessions take place through a secure video platform at an agreed time with your therapist.

Sessions generally last approximately 50 minutes. You will need a reliable internet connection and a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable speaking openly.

Before beginning, your therapist will discuss your needs, answer any questions and consider whether online psychotherapy is the right fit for you.

Finding the right therapist

At Three Shores Psychotherapy, we are three independent, accredited psychotherapists working collaboratively through a shared website.

Although based in Wicklow, Meath and Galway, we each offer online psychotherapy to clients throughout Ireland.

We recognise that finding a therapist you feel comfortable with is an important part of the process.

We invite you to explore our individual profiles and contact the therapist whose experience and approach feels most suited to your needs.

Telephone Counselling Across Ireland

Alongside online video sessions, we also offer telephone counselling for adults across Ireland.

Telephone counselling can be a helpful alternative for those who prefer the privacy and simplicity of a phone conversation, feel uncomfortable on camera, or find it difficult to attend appointments in person.

Whether you're experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, grief or life changes, telephone counselling offers a confidential and supportive space to talk, reflect and explore what's happening in your life.
